Showered with love!
But back to the shower! Chris came with me and it was so great to share in this special time with him! There were over 30 loved ones there and each woman made me feel so incredibly special. Thank you so much Patty, every single detail was just perfect and it all was so wonderful. I was truly spoiled and I was and am still so touched by the out pour of love and support.
This baby truly is loved by all of his/her grandparents!
Here are just some of the TONS of pictures I have! I can not wait to make a big album of all my showers to show Baby B just how loved he/she is and how lucky he/she is to have such wonderful family members! Thank you again Patty, I do not have enough words to tell you how grateful I am!
Just to show some of the detail, here is some fondant decor she had made..is this not the cutest thing ever?!

Tasty Tuesday....31 Weeks!!
How your baby's growing:
This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. He weighs about 3.3 pounds (try carrying four navel oranges) and is heading into a growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. He's probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy.
And Yes, Baby Brown is active!! We see elbows and legs moving across my belly daily!
Hard to believe Baby Brown is about 3 and a half pounds! And according to my books he or she is about to head into a big growth spurt and will gain about half a pound each week from here on out! Hard to believe at most we are 9 weeks away. And according to my Dr. who wants to deliver around 38 weeks we are just a mere 7 weeks away! Which means 7 weekends to get things done and to enjoy being a family of 2 for a bit longer.
Usually when I encounter strangers they look at me and say "aww, how far along are you?". But not now, just in the last week I have started getting "how much longer do you have left?". Which obviously means I must be getting close, and bigger. Now, when I start to get those sympathetic looks from women that say I've been there, or hang in there, or poor thing..then I know I am real close! And I have to think I will somewhat miss this special time in my life. I will definitely miss people giving up their seats at restaurants while waiting or strangers opening up doors, or just being extra spoiled (although I am spoiled most days even not pregnant) and having a reason to take it easy a lot. And I will miss most feeling our little sweet pea move all around all the time. BUT, none of those out weigh my anxious feeling and excitement to have this baby. I simply CAN NOT WAIT to have this baby! This morning I was watching reruns of a Baby Story on TLC (and crying of course) and I still find it so hard we will soon be going through the journey of delivering our child. I still can not picture us doing that...as if I will be pregnant forever. So while I will miss things about this stage, I am way more excited about holding and spoiling our little peanut and showing him/her to the world and starting our new life as a new family and entering in a new love I can not even imagine right now. And lets face it...getting out of breath all the time, not sleeping well, being exhausted all the time and having a hard time getting around is getting old!! So yes I will make the most of these next 7 or 8 weeks but I am counting down!
This week I am on Spring Break..wahoo!! So I will be posting more this week! Pictures and updates from my wonderful shower my mother in law Patty threw are coming next!! It was such a special and memorable shower and I absolutely can not wait to share all the details!! It was so special and full of so much love.
So other than watching Baby Story reruns, sifting through all of our shower goodies and being lazy, I plan on visiting my girl friends Lindsey, Megan and Lori and their new babies to get my friend and baby fix. And hopefully another trip to the hospital to meet my girlfriend Katie's new baby that is due today!! I have been ordered not to do anything around the house..so hopefully I can have some self control and avoid the long to do list staring at me on the fridge!
Happy Tuesday Yall!

30 Random Thoughts for 30 Weeks of Pregnancy!
How your baby's growing:
Your baby's about 15.7 inches long now, and she weighs almost 3 pounds (like a head of cabbage). A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will decrease as she gets bigger and takes up more room in your uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll keep her eyes closed for a good part of the day. When she does open them, she'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision — which means she can only make out objects a few inches from her face. (Normal adult vision is 20/20.)

Cheeks to kiss!
I am not out of the clear yet by any means and the Dr. still thinks either my BP is just high due to pregnancy or I am in the early stages of pre-eclampsia. As he clearly reminded me, "there is definitely still something going on with you". So I am going to continue to see him weekly for check ups and we have another ultrasound and stress test scheduled for the baby in 4 weeks. I have been getting really bad headaches daily and I am starting to swell a lot so the Dr. has Chris and myself keeping a close eye on me and if headaches do not go away after Tylenol and sleep or swelling does not go down after resting I have to go in to see him immediately. He also put me on another new bp med to take with my original bp meds to try and help bp more. I was not real happy about taking all these medications and I am freaked out a little but I have to trust the Dr. that he would not give me medicine that would harm the baby. So Chris took diligent notes on signs to look for as I stared googly eyed at the baby. So I am still on commands to do nothing but keep my feet up and rest at home and as much as I can at work (HA!) and the plans are still to deliver early...but I have accepted my life is a week to week basis and this week is good my friends!

Tasty Tuesday....29 weeks!!
Baby's now the size of a squash!
Baby's energy is surging, thanks to white fat depositing beneath his skin. And since he's growing so fast (weight will triple by birth), things are getting kind of cramped in the womb. What all this means for you: Get ready for some more kicks and jabs to the ribs.
